Dr. Yair Pesoa's website is designed to provide information and services to the general public. The website operates with a commitment to promoting equal rights, full accessibility, and transparency for people with disabilities, with the goal of enabling an equal and appropriate browsing experience for every user.
What is an accessible website
An accessible website enables people with disabilities to browse and use all website services with the same level of comfort, efficiency, and enjoyment as all users.
Browsing is performed using the user's system capabilities and with the assistance of various assistive technologies that facilitate use.
Implementation of accessibility adjustments on the website
The adjustments on the website were implemented in accordance with Section C: Internet Services in the Equal Rights for People with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Services), 2013, and in accordance with Israeli Standard SI 5568 based on WCAG 2.0 guidelines.
The website has been made accessible to AA level, in accordance with legal requirements and in accordance with changes and adjustments appearing in the Israeli Standard document.
As part of making the website accessible, the following adjustments were made, among others:
- Full accessibility for use with assistive technologies.
- Proper use of semantic structures (headings, lists, content areas).
- Adaptation of the website for full keyboard navigation: use of Tab, Shift+Tab, arrow keys, Enter for selection, and Esc to exit menus and windows.
- Ability to enlarge text and change color contrast.
- Creating the ability to block animations and moving elements.
- Highlighting links and interactive elements.
- Form adaptation — adding helper labels and instructions.
- Installation of a dedicated accessibility plugin on the website.
The website is regularly checked to maintain optimal accessibility levels.

Browsing on the website is suitable for common browsers as well as for use on mobile phones.
For optimal screen reader experience, we recommend using the latest version of NVDA.
